Even though our starring roles as Mary in the Nativity play at St. Marks Episcopal and the Old Old Sheep in Charlotte’s Web the Musical led us to believe otherwise, there is clearly a reason we are behind the camera instead of in front of it.

We here at BEST* have been working on a **Top Secret** project for the past 2 months for MTV. We think secrets suck (unless it is a secret about hooking up with a much older TA in college and then getting an A- in German Expressionism). Honesty is always the best policy. So honestly, we made a freaking TV show.

The Hills: According to Me premieres on MTV on October 18th at 2pm/1c. There will be four back-to-back episodes all written and directed by us, BEST*.

If you love The Hills you will love this. If you hate The Hills you will love it even more. And if you have never heard of The Hills you are lying. But you’ll still love it. We have selected a couple of our favorite scenes for our loyal blog reader(s). Watch, enjoy and clamor to MTV for more, so we can do what we like best: make funny shit.

PS- We want to use this forum to give a shout out to a seriously amazing crew and all the people that helped on the post end to make sure we used the best “spencer is such a douchebag” takes. And we can’t forget the best freaking producer there is, Matt Giulvezan (who also makes many cameos in the show). Plus, we would like to fully take credit for introducing the MTV viewing audience to Derek Miller-who will now hopefully get all the acting and comedy acclaim he deserves. He played 22 charcters in 5 days for crying out loud.

We are almost wary of sharing this info with mass amounts of people for fear that the small crop of Honeycrisps will be depleted even quicker. But then we figured all 20 of you that actually read this won’t put too big of a dent in our share. In the words of our friend Dylan, “The Honeycrisp? Best apple in the world! Boo-ya.”

Seriously. It’s that good of an apple. It made Dylan say boo-ya. The Honeycrisp is the perfect amount sweet followed by a hint of tart. Throw in that it is also the exact right amount crispy and you should already be salivating. (And we’re not even apple people to begin with.) You won’t believe it until you try it. They are only out for a short period of time, but they are available nation wide. So rush to your local farmers market, Whole Foods or grocer and stockpile as many Honeycrisps as you can, because once they are gone, you’ll have to wait until next September.

PS- We are aware that this is an incredibly important time for our nation and our government and this is the subject we chose to write the most impassioned post we have ever created about, but you will thank us for this. Eat a Honeycrisp while you vote.
