We promised more on the Six Man Tournament and here it is…Imagine thousands of people, dressed in outrageous costumes, drinking all day and playing volleyabll in teams of 6, on the beach. It is amazing.

The Magnum P.I. Team was our personal favorite. Short shorts, flower shirts, theme song and dreamy (and real) mustaches aside, they also had mad v-ball skills.

Our team on the other hand had a great theme (Twister)…but not so many skills. We will say this though, it is the only occasion where you just might end up playing against an Olympic Gold Medalist dressed up as a Flight Attendant after drinking 20 plastic cups of something called a “Skip and Go Naked*.”

*Skip and Go Naked involves Vodka, pink lemonade and beer. Thanks Julie and Ben.

…it would be called SIX MAN. It’s a huge volleyball tournament in Manhattan Beach (more on that in later posts). And while we did play in it, we did not come anywhere near winning it. But we still consider the weekend a success because we found this:
