This 1940′s stab at explaining how lady parts work really nails it. It’s no “Monster In My Vagina” but from the advice about not throwing off your cycle by “getting overtired, emotionally upset or catching cold,” (5:38) to the tip about showering to compensate for your sweat glands working overtime (6:30) and the directive to “stop feeling sorry for yourself” (somewhere around 7:15), this was obviously written by some old white dudes who really knew their shit.

It is amazing how much dudes love to educate people about what is right and wrong for women’s bodies… in 1940 and 2012.
